Sleekr started as a frustration. Dating apps had quietly become reading-list apps — endless browsing, no follow-through. So we built the smallest possible incentive system that flips the funnel: stake something to plan, get it back when you show up.
The thesis
Free swipes produced a generation of low-commitment matchmaking. The cost of saying “yes” collapsed, and so did the meaning of it.
Sleekr restores asymmetric commitment — both sides stake equally, both sides feel equally on the hook. The result isn't fewer plans. It's plans that happen.
